Here is what I will elaborate on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We received a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.steinbeck-molecular.de\/steinblog\/index.php\/2009\/05\/19\/chebi-chemistry-ontology-development-funded-by-bbsrc\/\" target=\"_blank\">ChEBI BBSRC grant for ontology development<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>We are in the process of hiring five new ChEBI team members at the moment &#8211; one, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebi.ac.uk\/Information\/Staff\/person_maintx.php?s_person_id=1140\" target=\"_blank\">our new curator Steve Turner<\/a>, has arrived and our candidate for one of the software engineer positions accepted our offer today.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.steinbeck-molecular.de\/steinblog\/index.php\/2009\/06\/04\/new-nmrshiftdb-node-at-ebi\/\" target=\"_blank\">NMRShiftDB now runs at the EBI<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/orchem.sourceforge.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">OrChem<\/a>, developed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebi.ac.uk\/Information\/Staff\/person_maintx.php?s_person_id=261\" target=\"_blank\">Mark Rijnbeek<\/a> in my group, is making <a href=\"http:\/\/stan.ebi.ac.uk:7777\/orchem\/\" target=\"_blank\">great progress (sorry, internal link, for now)<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>We had a very successful <a href=\"http:\/\/www.steinbeck-molecular.de\/steinblog\/index.php\/2009\/04\/23\/cdk-workshop-2009-wrap-up\/\" target=\"_blank\">CDK workshop at EBI in April<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m giving my quartly report on progress in my area for the EBI industry programme.
